Product Overview:
The Medasil Silicone Bite Guard is a single-use mouthpiece that protects teeth and oral tissues during procedures involving oral access. It fits over the teeth before and during anaesthesia induction, intubation, endoscopy, and other intra-oral procedures. It also helps protect loose teeth during anaesthesia and resuscitation.
Made from biocompatible silicone elastomer, the guard is latex-free and phthalate-free. Coloured blue for visibility. Contains Barium Sulphate (BaSO4) for potential radiopacity. Co-designed with theatre personnel. Available with or without cotton tape for additional fixation. Measures 52mm x 46mm. Can be trimmed between ribbon holes to fit. For short-term use up to 29 days. Single use. Sterile and non-sterile versions supplied in individual single wrapped pouches. 20 per box.
